Welcome to Common Opal Studio, operated by Neera Opal (“Founder”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services or website.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website located at www.commonopal.com (the “Site”) or purchasing any services from Common Opal Studio, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Site. Your continued use of the Site or our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
3. Services
Common Opal Studio offers wellness services including, but not limited to, Reiki, Coaching, Guided Meditation, Sound Healing, Workshops, and related events. All services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or replace any service at any time without notice.
4. Pricing & Payments
Prices for services and events are subject to change without notice. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as detailed on our Site. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. All payments are processed securely, and your personal information is protected.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Appointments & Private Sessions: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the service.

Group Sessions: Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours in advance to the start time to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations (or no shows) made within less than 2 hours will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the service.

Events/Workshops: All sales for events and workshops are final. We do not offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows.

Force Majeure: In case of events outside our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services, in which case a refund or alternative arrangement will be offered.
6. Health & Safety
Participation in services such as Reiki, Sound Healing, and other treatments is voluntary. You are responsible for consulting with your physician or healthcare provider regarding any health conditions or concerns before participating. We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or health issues resulting from participation in our services.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and intellectual property on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are the exclusive property of Common Opal Studio. Unauthorized use or reproduction of any material is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Kelowna, BC.
